My name is Keletso Lawrence Kelatlhegile. I am a 22-year-old Queer artist and model living in Gaborone, Botswana.

I recently finished my studies at the University of Botswana. Over the years, I have learned the importance of visibility and taking up space, and this is why I create.

I express all that I have been conditioned to suppress and more. Through my art, I tell a story and this is so fulfilling. I use art to break stereotypes and create safe spaces especially for Queer people in Africa.

All of us should be true to ourselves, there’s beauty in that. For me, it is through fashion that I give my story. I challenge each of you to find your light and share your story with the world, regardless of who you are.
